What is Vedic Maths

Vedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient system of Indian Mathematics which was rediscovered from the Vedas between 1911 and 1918 by

Sri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji (1884-1960). According to his research, all of mathematics is based on Sixteen Sutras or word-formulae. These Sixteen one-line formulae originally written in Sanskrit enables one to solve long mathematical problems quickly.

Like fast food people normally see Vedic Maths as a collection of tricks for Fast Maths. This course is not a collection of tricks, but a unified approach to mathematics and mathematics education: if you want tricks please go elsewhere. Since it is the coherent, natural and universal way, huge and complex problems can be solved in a line.

Vedic mathematics is not only confined to basic operations. It extends its scope to Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Computing etc.
